We have some exciting updates! First things first, you can find our official social media presence on Instagram here - where we should be posting with consistency (hopefully).
And without further ado, we give you-
The script for the first issue is officially locked, with Thumbed interior pages close behind. Once the Thumb Art is approved, we can move on to Inking Stage! While this portion can take some time, it produces such phenomenal panels, including the following showcase for San Diego Comic Con.
I should be able to share updates of the Inks as they develop!
But I digress. For those less in the know, let me explain what exactly we are crafting with The Wheel Turner.
This gruesome Bronze Age revenge odyssey follows a widow named Kali hunting her husband’s killer across primeval lands. She refuses to relent on her wrathful crusade, despite innumerable monsters - human and mythic – standing in her way.
Kali’s sole companion, a ghastly phantasm calling itself the Pale Man, haunts her to embrace the darkest depths of her true nature; that cruelty which will guide her to her prey. With every beast butchered and slave master slaughtered, the logic in the Pale Man’s musings begin making more and more sense. Why should she extinguish the fire consuming her soul when the flame burns so hot?
Perhaps, she shouldn’t. Never mind the gaunt fingers snaking around the shape of her soul from the depths of Oblivion, molding that flame.
You, dear reader, are invited to uncover Kali's journey in monthly releases starting during the summer of 2027! Find out how this story of feminine rage in the Bronze Age kicks off by picking up an issue in comic book stores near you!
